Soomfon CN003: Floating Menu content script result not shown on device (static items render fine)

BTT version: 6.885 (2026100205), macOS on Mac Studio

Device: Soomfon CN003 (listed as "should work"), connected directly by USB, Soomfon software quit.

What works: the CN003 is detected by name and serial in the macro pad picker. A Floating Menu built from the AJAZZ AKP05E template, bound to the CN003 with "Macro Pad Only", renders all 10 keys with colors and labels, and the knobs respond.

What doesn't: a Standard Item with a Content Script enabled (every 5 s, run on first load, always run when visible) only ever shows "Some Text" on the device. The script returns correctly in the editor: {BTTMenuItemText: '4:39:01 PM'}, using the documented on clock(itemUUID) handler pattern. The device never shows the returned text, even after re-plugging the pad and restarting BTT.

Question: are content scripts / dynamic text supported on the CN003 yet, or is there a setting I'm missing? Happy to send logs or test an alpha.

Update: solved, my mistake. I was editing a different item's script; the AKP05E template's own example script on that key was the one returning "some text". After replacing that item script with a JavaScript itemScript returning {BTTMenuItemText: }, the CN003 key updates live every few seconds. So the CN003 works fine with content scripts. Sorry for the noise, and thanks for BTT!
