[Solved] BetterTouchTool doesn't appear in the "Touch Bar" with iPad Side Car

Hello,

I just started to use BetterTouchTool and I really like it😃

When using the iPad Side Car function with my MacBook Pro as a secondary display
BetterTouchTool buttons don't appear in the Touch Bar on the iPad.
With the window selected on the iPad, I can see the BetterTouchTool button on the iPad
but it doesn't work.

I use a MacBook Pro 15 2019

  • macOS version: 10.15.3
  • BetterTouchTool version: 3.346

unfortunately the side car Touch Bar is always context/application specific, thus it can not show the global BTT Touch Bar ;-(

strangely, I did get golden chaos to work on my iPad via sidecar. worked beautifully for a bout 5 minutes and then it disappeared an di have no clue how to get it back. sadness. this would be a game changer on iPad via sidecar. how much money can I send you to get this working, haha

I did have some problems with Sidecar.
To solve it reset the iPad or logout iCloud from the computer and iPad,
or reset all settings on the iPad.
one of them worked for me.
You can find many blogs about sidecar fix.
I noticed that if my screen turn off (screen saver or energy saving)
I lose the connection.
I hope it's helpful.
