Snapping windows overlaps mac menu bar

Describe the bug

When snapping windows to the left or right of screen, the window snaps to the very bottom of the screen and overlaps the mac menu bar. As such, the bottom of the window is obscured by the window bar. So far this problems happens regularly but not all the time so it can't always be reproduced.

Device information:

  • Type of Mac: 2019 MBP 15"
  • macOS version: 10.15.7
  • BetterTouchTool version: I just clicked download off the website 30 mins ago. How do I find version number?

**Additional information

I have slightly customised the height of the mac menu bar. I also switch between mac and mac with external monitor and problem affects both.

I'm seeing this too, and I run my Mac menu bar up the left side of the screen rather than on the bottom. I will provide more detailed conditions presently... I will say that I unplugged my external monitor and, of course, started needed "maximize" on the MacBook Air screen, which is where I first saw the problem (with Word), but, it happened once and once I closed and reopened the file it did not happen again with that window.
