When using edge snapping with BTT and running the latest version of both BTT and macOS Sequoia the windows are not snapping to the edges of the monitor. There is padding that is occurring that never occurred before. Not sure if this expected behavior and there is a setting I can adjust or if its a bug with macOS Sequoia.
by default BetterTouchTool now integrates with the native window resizing. Unfortunately for that it can not modify the margins, you need to manually disable them in System Settings => Desktop & Dock => Tiled windows have margins".
Thanks!! @Andreas_Hegenberg , i'd advise you to include this quick tutorial in a support window when people try to fix this by tweaking on BTT. It was super annoying and yet it took me more than a month to look it over.
System Settings in MacOS Sonoma has no "Tiled windows have margins" option (or I don't find it), but I have a small margin between menubar and windows if I resize windows to 100% or 50%.
Tiled windows have margins - disabled, Hot corners not configured
Window snapping & moving settings - changed to "Use classic BetterTouchTool Resizing", Empty space between windows - 0 px, No padding if you maximize window - checked.
Restarted BTT. None of this is working and I still see spaces between tiled windows.
Mac OS Sequioa 15.2, Apple M1.
Mac OS Sequioa 15, Apple M1Pro
Both macs have exact same issue. Any help is much appreciated. It drives me nuts every single time.
Yeah. I was still able to snap when I quit BTT. then disabled everything related to window tiling in MACOS settings - Tiled window have margins, drag window to screen edges to tile etc.
