Hello, maybe it's too niche, feel free to delete my request, but on my M2 macbook I have set menubar to autohide and using BTT window snapping, when I use the top to maximize window, it maximizes so much, that when I unhide the menubar, there is small overlap of that maximized window and my OCD doesn't like it.
I share your need for visual order. While I think there is likely a solution using BTT, you might consider doing what I do, which is use Moom for all my window management. Works well. Mature app. Allows you to specify window-separation spacing, and much more.
In similar situations – where BTT doesn’t do as good or as repeatable a job as I want, I just use it to run other apps (which can usually be done with keychords (a/k/a hot-keys, shortcuts).
Try using the "Resize Active Window To Specific Position & Size" or maybe "Create Snap Area Using Focused Window As Template" ?
oh, thank you very much, my bad I didn’t know these perfect workarounds
Create Custom Snap Area totally saved my day
