slider to run a shell command

I would like to be able to use a slider to set a value and use that value to run a shell command inserting that value (similar to the AppleScript but direct with Bash).

The example I am thinking is I have a RaspberryPi that is used to play some audio and I would like to make a slider to control the volume remotely.

You can use the "Custom Apple Script Slider" for that:

Just use the "do shell script" apple script command
