Describe the bug
I use a Magic Trackpad 2 with System Preferences > Trackpad > Tap to Click enabled. I am prone to inadvertently lightly touching the trackpad, which registers as an unwanted click. I thought I might be able to help the situation using BetterTouchTool as follows.
System and BTT configured as follows:
System Preferences > Trackpad > Tap to Click: Disabled
BTT Trackpad Trigger ‘1 Finger Tap’ with a single advanced condition of ‘last_trackpad_force is greater than 150’. Single action is ‘Left Click (at current mouse position)’
In Magic Mouse Advanced Settings, ‘Enable doubletap to drag’ is enabled.
The advanced condition ‘last_trackpad_force’ has no effect, and tap-and-a-half drag does not work.
Without the advanced condition, but the same action, 1 Finger Tap does produce a click and tap-and-a-half drag works.
With other actions (of course I have only tested a few), the advanced condition ‘last_trackpad_force’ works as expected.
Affected input device (e.g. MacBook Trackpad, Magic Mouse/Trackpad, Touch Bar, etc.):
