Simulate holding mouse button down with a button click?

Hi, I would like to know if is it possible to simulate holding down the left mouse button by just clicking on, for example, the mouse back button and then clicking again the back button to release the hold action.

What I would like to obtain is something that I normally do with the Apple Accessibility feature “Alternate Pointer Action” where a first press on the F2 key will simulate holding down the mouse button and then a second press will release it.

I would like to substitute that key press with a secondary mouse button press, because sometimes I need to drag the mouse with my right hand while I play a musical keyboard with my left hand (the mouse drag action is really bad for my wrist, that’s the reason I want to drag the mouse by just moving it, without having to keep the left button down)

Is this possible with Better Touch Tool?

You can assign the "Cycle Through Multiple Actions" meta action, then one "Custom Mouse Buttons & Modifiers" action that sends a mouse down event and another that sends a mouse up event:

Thanks a lot! Will this work with a Logitech MX Anywhere right out of the box or do I have to uninstall Logi Options? I hate the Logi Options software, but I need it to remap the special keys of the MX keys (unless BTT is capable of remapping these too.) I’m asking this because, given that I tried BTT a couple of years ago, my trial period is over, so I can’t test to see how this works before buying the software
