Is it possible to keep the switcher open after selecting an app window from the list?
Now that I think about it... that would be a really good option. I second that wish.![]()
It is a BTT window. So you should be able to keep it in the foreground using the pin function, no?
At the moment, that's not possible... but Andreas could make it happen.![]()
Yes that should be quite easy to add. I'll look into it soon.
Would be nice
, optional foreground pin option also good idea.
I use Autoraise app to select app window to foreground and move mouse to center of the window, but this clashed with the Window Switcher. It looses focus with result that my mouse is away from the Window Switcher. Happens only if I call the WS with 3F up swipe not while using CMD-TAB. Any idea how to handle this behaviour?
I think I don't understand the auto raise issue. What looses focus?
Currently the window switcher closes when it looses focus and autoraise probably just always focuses the window under the cursor so that explains that. Currently there is no workaround for this.
Yeah, for now I bash close Autoraise short before I invoke the WS and turn it on when touch is released, works, but shaky
. Still hope you'll find time to make WS autoclose, keep open, pin on top options available.
By the way: it would be nice if the WS moved the mouse to the center of the chosen app/window.
That is actually already possible.
Assuming you open WS with fn + tab
Create a key sequence: Trigger: Fn up when the WS window is visible.
Move the mouse to the center of the active/chosen window.
Great, thank you!
Here is the preset based on feedback above from @Frank1 Thanks for that.
exported_window_switcher.bttpreset (6.3 KB)
Alt Tab to trigger.
Edit: The proper conditions is:
visible_window_list CONTAINS "BetterTouchTool - Untitled - 101"
