Show Specific Application in current space

Describe the bug

I use the Show/Hide Specific Application action but if I hide an application in space 1, move to space 2 and trigger again the action in order to show the application, the application move me in space 1 and show up.

Is it possible to have an action to show/hide an application (or window) independent of the space?

Example of use case: I would like to quickly be able to show Messages window in order to answer a SMS by I want to stay on my current space/working window.
Just trigger Messages that appear in foreground, answer SMS, hide Messages and continue working.

Affected input device (e.g. MacBook Trackpad, Magic Mouse/Trackpad, Touch Bar, etc.):
All

Device information:

  • Type of Mac: MacBook Pro
  • macOS version: 10.14.4
  • BetterTouchTool version: 2.717

So, I found another solution.

Let's say you want to bring/hide Messages with the shortcut Alt-S:

In global, assign Alt-S to "Launch Messages.App"
Add Messages.app as a specific app in left panel then assign Alt-S to CMD-W, then attach an additional action that perform a CMD-tab (the first action close Messages window then the second one will focus you on your last app).
