SHA-256 mismatch

Hi.

Currently when I try to install with homebrew, I get the following error that prevents me from installing.
This error is sometimes seen with other applications, but the same error occurs even after deleting the file and trying again as it did then.

❯ brew install --cask bettertouchtool

:man_shrugging: sorry I am not involved in homebrew, maybe something is cached incorrectly

Best use BTT's integrated updater

Greetings, I was having the same issue when updating BTT through brew yesterday, but it’s working well today. I would try again and see if it’s fixed.

Still the same on my end.

I created an account to report this issue and found that it was already there. The problem is likey that the version was bumped without updating the checksum in the json

Current hash seem to be: 8b8d88b792e5e3b8fef244f370ddb17dfe6fe561a829ac0fc3eabdc0318d20a0

Brew is expecting: 60a5c38433ed1b50ce5b783d7b74b644666430133f9e1561092d0bf32e2dfa3a

as seen here: https://formulae.brew.sh/api/cask/bettertouchtool.json

“Don’t use homebrew” is not a great option; I want a single package manager to control all my software rather than having to juggle a hundred different people’s installers and upgraders.

as mentioned, I am not affiliated with brew (and don't want to be, managing updates is already hard enough ). You need to report it there. It probably needs to refresh the appcast - I don't know much about brew but it seems it caches the old appcasts.
