Steps to reproduce this issue:
- BTT Settings>User Interface>Use custom SFSymbol Icon With Name
- Type any valid SFSymbol name, i.e. externaldrive
- Click Apply
- The BTT icon changes accordingly, as expected
- Remove "externaldrive" and leave Use custom SFSymbol Icon With Name as an empty field
- Click Apply
- The BTT icon changes to the default BTT icon, as expected
- Click the icon or restart BTT, and the externaldrive icon is shown again
- Open again Settings>User Interface and Use custom SFSymbol Icon With Name
- The field is still showing externaldrive
try hitting enter after entering/removing the name (apply should do that but maybe it fails for som reason)
You're right, hitting enter fixes the issue.
The apply button is working as expected when you type a valid sfsymbol name or when you type a wrong sfsymbol name.
Examples:
You type externaldrive and click apply (without hitting enter) -> icon changes as expected
You type eraser and click apply (without hitting enter) -> icon changes as expected
You type ---- and click apply (without hitting enter) -> icon changes to BTT default icon
But if you leave the field empty and click apply (without hitting enter) icon changes to BTT default icon (as expected). But once you click the BTT menu icon or restart BTT makes the empty field to be filled again with the last entry.
But if you leave the field empty and hit enter everything works as expected.
