several instances of btt.app under "a document currently saving" folders . no idea what it means

macbook air m1
btt 5.800, but has been the case for at least 3 months now

basicallly, when I search in macupdater, other apps, or even spotlight I think, i’d have btt.app show up..even though it’s not the good one. when I lookup what folder it belongs to, it’s in

user/applications/document currently saving . there are several folders in that directory , and as such several btt.app

These are failed update attempts, you can delete them. I don't know much about macupdater, but maybe it is related to it.

i dont think it is, i haven’t tried updating from macupdater

Then I'd just delete them. This can e.g. happen if BTT or macOS crashes during an update attempt.
