Send a shortcut without sending the original keystroke

Hello,
I'm using a partition pedalboard which acts as a keyboard and sends "Left arrow" or "Right arrow" (it is usually used for musicians which needs to scroll through their digital partition with a footswitch)
I want to use it to go forward in Youtube. So i have configured that when this specific "keyboard" (the footswitch) sends a Right Arrow, BTT send a "L" to forward 10 seconds in Youtube Chrome.
It worked perfectly but after a Chrome update it now opens a dialog with a choice between "L" and "Right Arrow" because it receives both keystrokes at the same time. I had not noticed that the original keystroke was still sent to the application.
Is it possible to remove completely the original keystroke and only send the Shortcut created by BTT ?
I can't find the option
Thanks

Mhm that should be the default behavior, could you post a screenshot on how you configured it in BTT?

Hello, thanks for your answer,
here is the screenshot : quite simple. I have managed to make it work by changing what is sent by my pedalboard : it can send Arrow Left/Arrow Right or Arrow Up/Arrow Down.
I've switched to Arrow Up/Arrow Down and it seems to work.
Arrow Up (left pedal) simulates a Right Arrow to add 5 seconds in Youtube while Arrow Down (right pedal) simulates a "L" key to add 10 seconds in Youtube.

I will keep it like that for now
