Describe the bug
Search selected text within Google is instead searching existing clipboard copied text.
Happy to change my workflow, but is this the intent?

Affected input device (e.g. MacBook Trackpad, Magic Mouse/Trackpad, Touch Bar, etc.):
MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2017)
Chrome is the default browser

Device information:
MBP 2017
Mac OS 10.13.6
BTT 2.563 (897)

Might add, a 0.3 second delay between copy and search was also too short. 1 second works.

I noticed this too, but in my case it was a feature. My app has no text, but you can copy values into the clipboard. I made a shortcut searching for those values using "Search Selected Text With Google", and to my surprise it worked. Saved me some time. :slight_smile:

It works with selected text too though. And if I have content in my clipboard, and text selected, it will search the selected text. But it will ALSO put the selected text into my clipboard, which might not be a wanted feature? Maybe the action should be divided into two (or with a configuration option) - one for selected text, and one for clipboard content?
