Before bug reporting, please make sure you have tried the latest (alpha) version of BetterTouchTool and that you have already tried to restart your system :-). If you encounter a crash, please attach a crash log from the macOS Console.app from the "User Diagnostic Reports" section.
Describe the bug
I'd like to have an accelerated scroll on holding a side mouse button
I set an advanced trigger (in this testing example it's right mouse click)
exported_triggers.bttpreset (2.1 KB)
But then the scrolling is janky unlike the native "infinite scroll" wheel. Tried various settings for repeat rate, but couldn't get to the same thing
Affected input device (e.g. MacBook Trackpad, Magic Mouse/Trackpad, Touch Bar, etc.):
Logitech Anywhere MX bluetooth mouse
modified janky scroll
native smooth scroll
- Type of Mac: MacBook Pro
- macOS version: 13.4.1 (22F82)
- BetterTouchTool version: 4.171
Additional information (e.g. crash logs, related issues, etc.):
LinearMouse app (disabled for this testing) does it wonderfully, but it only works with key modifiers, so maybe you could copy how they do it?
