Screen issue with BTT & Stage Manager

With the combination of BTT and Stage Manager, my windows have a vertical line about 10% from the left edge, going top-to-bottom. Then when I drag a window across the line, often a rectangle shows up in the background. When I release the dragged window it becomes resized according to that background rectangle, and also extends from the top of the screen to the bottom. This happens on both of my monitors and in all Mission Control spaces. Problem goes away when either BTT is closed or Stage Manager turned off.

That's an indicator for the window snapping "edge". You can disable it in the settings:

Thanks. I'm sorry I hadn't investigated the app Settings before I posted. It does seem to be the Swiss-Army-Knife of utilities. Much to learn.
