Save / Restore Window Layout not working with Adobe CC Applications

Describe the bug
The new pre-defined action is working fantastically, however it does not seem to work on adobe applications correctly. The apps do not seem to be affected at all, they will not restore size or position.

Affected input device (e.g. MacBook Trackpad, Magic Mouse/Trackpad, Touch Bar, etc.):
All inputs, one action

Device information:

  • Type of Mac: MacBook Pro
  • macOS version: 10.13.6
  • BetterTouchTool version: 2.712

Note: Before bug reporting, please make sure you have the latest version of BetterTouchTool and that you have already tried to restart your system :-). If you encounter a crash, please attach a crash log from the macOS Console.app from the "User Diagnostic Reports" section.

thanks for reporting!
I have just uploaded v2.713, which should work better with adobe apps, however you need to re-save the layout.

Works much better, would there be any chance this could work across multiple desktops/spaces?

Unfortunately the API is limited to the currently visible spaces as far as I know.

Thanks for this cool feature! Sad to hear that API limits prevent it from working across Spaces. A vote from me to address this if it ever becomes possible, as the restore layout feature is close to useless for me currently because of this limitation (having to activate the restore layout function across all of my 13 spaces is very laborious).

Unfortunately I doubt this will ever become possible :slight_smile:
Luckily I don't use spaces very much...
