Save desktop state

Is it posiible with your lovely tool to save and restore the desktop state? I mean everything that is open, windows arrangements, open applications, and their arrangement? Say after reboot, or shutdown . This feature is available in Mac OS after shutdown, but is it possible to manually do it?

you can try the predefined action „save / restore window layout“. I will however only save/restore the current space

and it will not open apps that were open in the saved state. Is there a way of implementing such thing?

You can use the "Launch Apps If They Are Not Running" checkbox in that action's settings
