Restoring from "Full BetterTouchTools Backup Zip?"

I'm not sure what's going on, but I'm trying to move everything from my old MacBook Pro to my New MacBook Pro.

I used the Help > Export FULL BetterTouchTools Backup as Zip from the menu. I airdropped that to my new MacBook, then put all the files from the "Application Support" folder into ~/Library/Application Support/BetterTouchTool folder and the com.hegenberg.BetterTouchTool.plist file into the ~/Library/Preferences/ folder.
(I did quit BTT before move those files over) And told the system to overwrite any existing files.

When I launch BTT, the only thing that seems to have taken effect is the .plist (preferences) because the BTT menu icon no longer shows up in the menu back and it registered itself to auto launch at login.

However NONE of my hotkeys, window snapping, or anything else is working or present in the configuration...

I tried doing that several times, but had no luck.. So I made the stupid choice to use the 'SYNC' function in the settings. - I setup both devices to sync. And Lost everything I had setup on my older MacBook Pro.. Like all of my settings/hotkeys/etc are GONE! Because instead of syncing the data from the old MacBook to the new one, it sync my new MacBook to the cloud then updated the old MacBook with the settings of the new one.. which was nothing, because coping over the contents of the .zip backup never worked..

Why is there an EXPORT to Zip but no IMPORT From Zip?????

This app has become so cluttered with nonsense, its hard to find the useful functions now. AI? Really?

How do I Import the functions/settings from the backup zip so I can get all my hotkeys and such back????

oh man, I was just about to help but I really really hate such entitled bullshit.

Why is it so hard to just be friendly when asking for help?

//edit: anyways, 6.1107 adds an "Import FULL BetterTouchTool Backup From Zip" option:
