Multitouch has this specific gesture and was wondering if BTT could get it too. Basically a two finger rest and then either left finger or right finger swipe up or down.
I would personally use it to alternate between tabs in web browser instead of my current 3 finger tiptap left/right because I get false triggers with it.
For some odd reason, TipSwipe Left Finger Up and Down both evoke the same action. I have it set to switch tab left or right. With TipTap Left or Right this works as intended but not with TipSwipe Up/Down. They both go to the left tab.
Is there any way to prevent the active window from scrolling vertically when TipSwipe is evoked? After successive tip swipes my mouse pointer ends up at the bottom or top of the window and I'm out of focus for further swipes and in general it navigates me away from where I was focusing with my mouse pointer.
is this on the magic mouse or on the trackpad? (On the trackpad it should automatically block cursor movements and scrolling as good as possible, but I currently don't have my magic mouse with me to check there)
I am sorry for the confusion. TipSwipe on Trackpad does indeed work
However, in the process of accidentally configuring Magic Mouse for Tip Swipe I noticed that it does not evoke the action nor does Live View show the action being triggered. I know you said you don't have a Magic Mouse to confirm right now so I can wait until a time you do.
If you have your Magic Mouse now could you check on functionality of TipSwipe Left and Right Finger Up or Down (2 Fingers Fix) for Magic Mouse? They are not doing anything for me still. I have checked Live Viewer and they are not registering for anything.
