Rename file command for Mac?

Is there any way to build a shortcut to trigger the file Rename function on Mac? I use it a lot where I'll select a dozen files and then right click, find the Rename function and click on it. There doesn't seem to be a keyboard shortcut to trigger a batch rename. Is there any way to trigger it with BTT?

Uh if I understand what you were asking for correctly...

omg, it took me a while to figure out how to copy what you did. Brilliant! It worked. Instead of Command R, I set it to Command left mouse click, which is faster for me. Thank you!
