Remap Modifier Keys (Swap CTRL & CMD)

Hi,

I want to replace karabiner-elements completely by BTT.

In karabiner I have swapped my Modifier Keys:
CMD --> CTRL
CTRL --> CMD

UseCase:

  • I use a external Keyboard with macOS and Windows
  • I want to have the same shortcuts
  • Example:
  • The Copy-Shortcut in Windows is CTRL+C
  • The Copy-Shortcut in macOS is CMD+C
  • By swapping CTRL and CMD in macOS, I still can use the same muscle-memory like on windows.
  • Also shortcuts defined on my Keyboard (I have dedicated keys for Cut, Copy & Paste) work like intended on both platforms

In karabiner this is fairly easy to setup:

In BTT it's stated that the Key Sequences Feature should be used. I tried to set it up like this (see screenshot) but this led to a endless queue triggering itself.

I would be thankful for any hints on how to achieve this. Note that this needs to operate at the lowest level. I want that BTT afterwards recognizes my CTRL-Key als CMD and vise versa. AND it should only work for the external keyboard - not for the built-in.

Maybe an unsolvable problem - idk.

Best regards,
Volker

Thanks for the hint & sorry for not finding it on my own. I swear I had the Doc opened :face_with_peeking_eye:
