Every so often I see a red or green dot that covers the upper-right quarter of the BTT icon in the Menu bar. However, try and search as I might I cannot figure out what these dots signify, as they will appear and disappear randomly (or I'm doing something I'm unaware of). Can anyone tell me what these dots signify? Thanks.

Thanks. I did check for updates and had one. Any idea about the green dot?
The green dot means that an update has been installed automatically. It should go away as soon as you click the icon.
I think it only shows if you have background updates enabled (so users can still notice a new version has been installed and check the release notes if they want to)
