Problems with middle mouse click in Modo (3d modelling app)

Middle click doesn't work correctly - instead selection, starts other functions in the app; simply put: it doesn't do what it should do.

Magic Mouse / Magic Mouse 2

  • Type of Mac: iMac end-2015, iMac Pro
  • macOS version: Mojave (latest)
  • BetterTouchTool version: 2.667 is the last version without that bug

did you try version 2.686?

Latest version on website is 2.685...

I'm pretty sure it is v2.686 (build 991), but I'm currently not at home to verify.
