Problem with BTT and KM integration. (Monterey related (?))

I had a BTT and KM integration for sorting mail, where a trackpad gesture in mail would pop up a KM dialog for email filing. From that dialog, I could either change the selection or use the default and select "Ok" or type Enter to file the email. To minimize hand movement from trackpad to keyboard, I had added a trackpad gesture to enable me to inject an "enter" to the dialog window.

This worked fine until recently (I think coincides with update to Monterey), the enter gesture no longer registers, and it appears to be that although previously having both gestures bound to the Mail app worked, the second gesture needs to be bound to Keyboard Maestro Engine (? because I don't see how to bind to that process, and binding to KM doesn't work). I have found a work-around by creating a conditional group based on the input window name, but not sure what changed or if there is a more elegant way to scope a gesture to a KM dialog window.
