Prevent touchbar from sleeping to get around MBP disco strobe-light problem

My MBP suffers from the touchbar strobe light problem (example if you're not aware: youtube -> watch?v=uo2J-ShE7yU). This only happens when the touchbar dims and goes to sleep, so an option to somehow keep it awake would be excellent!

I tried a while with the current version but couldn't find a way to do it, but maybe I'm missing an easy possibility that's already there?

unfortunately this is not possible with BTT.
Also keeping the Touch Bar on, would probably lead to burn in effects, which is why Apple does not allow this.

Thanks Andreas, I will just stick to my hardware solution (a piece of cardboard on top) then :smile:
