I just upgraded to a lifetime subscription, When I try to run the newest version, I get the menubar and dock icons, but when I choose “Preferences” from the menubar, nothing happens except the dock item appears and the menubar icon stops responding.
When I try to show all windows from the dock, it says “no available windows”.
can you give some more information about your system? (macOS version would be most relevant)
If you checked for updates manually, possibly go back to https://folivora.ai/releases/BetterTouchTool.zip for now

The version from the Zip file appears to offer a “configuration” option from the menu bar, which pops up a window, so that may have solved the problem.
