Please help me with BTT window maximizing

I had BTT perfectly configured on my old Macbook (no longer available to me). I got a new one at work and I'm baffled at how I ever made BTT do what I want!

My complaint about standard Mac windows is, when you click the green 'maximize' button, it makes the window fill the entire screen -- covering the task bars, menu bars, and everything. I want it to work like on Windows/Linux, where it maximizes the window but only to the normal edges, not covering up everything else that you need for computer navigation.

Someone please walk me through how to do this on BTT (licensed).

Update: It works now (thank you Google Gemini), but what's weird is the windows only maximize to about 97% of the available area. It is leaving a thin border around the window where you can see whatever is behind it. What's up with that?
