Perhaps an action that'll allow to play sound from given directory?
Agreed. Play sound from either the system alert sound list, or from an audio file. Can be extremely handy for debugging sequences.

My use case is playing a confirmation sound alongside an action that displays a HUD overlay to give even more peace of mind that my action was taken.
I guess you can just invoke a shell script asyncronously that will do that but... yeah that could be handy.
