Pinch and spread settings

With the introduction of macOS 26 which no longer features launchpad, I have found an app to replace it and I am trying to configure BetterTouchTool to use the same three finger and thumb pinch to open this new app rather than the replacement Apple app launcher.

I have switched off the default three finger and thumb pinch in the System Settings. And set up BetterTouchTool to send a keyboard shortcut when it senses I have used a three finger and thumb pinch to the new app to open it. This seems to work fine except that the sensitivity of the touchpad seems to be lower than the default Apple settings.

In BetterTouchTool in the advanced section for touchpads I can find numerous sensitivity settings but under the “pinch” tab there only seems to be one option for a five finger pinch required distance.

Is there any way of changing the sensitivity for other types of pinches and spreads? I have a slight lack of mobility in my right hand, and it seems to be causing me problems. However, with the default Apple settings for opening the new app launcher I have no problems at all with a three finger and thumb pinch.

If anyone could point me in the right direction, I will be very grateful
