Pasting multiple items not working

Note:

Describe the bug
wehen trying to paste multiple items to notes or safari, the window jsut flashes and some sound system is played 3 times (when trying to paste 3 things) and nothing is pasted.

it looks like the window focus is lost and the system behave as if I pressed unsupported keyboard shortcut or something. see attached gif

this looks like some other app is interfering, the flash does not come from BTT. Maybe something that is activated while pressing modifier keys?

I don't think so.
I have a key binding that F12 brings the paste history.
I select the tree items and hit enter. Or I click the the button Standard button below

Used to work before.

Seems like even with one item I have the same issue :frowning:

No idea what might be interfering. I'm gonna investigate.
