The Apple default shortcut for paste without formatting is cmd+shift+v
Cmd-shift-v does not work everywhere, e.g. not in Microsoft Office.
Ah I did't know that!
I just purchased BTT for this single purpose - a shortcut for paste unformatted in Microsoft Word. It works perfectly. Novices like me must remember to hit the "return" key after typing "pbpaste | pbcopy".
