Paste specific item from clipboard manager not working anmyore

Describe the bug
I have set keyboard shortcuts that invoke the Action "Paste specific item from clipboard manager". But regardless of the number set in "Paste items at position" it always just pastes the item at position one.
This occurs since the latest update to version 4.999 that had lots of changes to the clipboard manager.

Screenshots

As can be seen in the screenshot, I have set keyboard shortcuts fn+cmd+[1-9] that work in all apps that should paste the text in the clipboard manager at position 1 to 9 with the action "Paste specific item from clipboard manager". This action does not work anymore. It just pastes the item at position 1.

Device information:

  • Type of Mac: MacBook Pro M3
  • macOS version: 15.2
  • BetterTouchTool version: 4.999

you are right, it only works when more than one item position is entered. Fixed in 4.9991 (uploading now)

//edit: sorry it was slightly more complex, now really fixed in 4.9992 (uploading)

would be great if you could test, the 4.9992 build is now available. I hope it is fixed but if not I'll change the way it is pasting.

Thanks. That was quick. Works again

Hey - I have updated to the current version and it still only seems to paste from clipboard position one, even if I put 2,3, or 2 etc

is there a work around?

you are sure you are on 4.9992? (it seems to work fine here)

Came here to find why the Action wasn't working for me.

Upgraded to 4.9997.

Tha Action "Paste specific items from Clipboard Manager (customizable)" is not pasting anything in Adobe Lightroom Classic. I have position 3 specified.

The alternative I would like to use is to save a string to a variable and then paste the variable (I am used to Keyboard Maestro). Is that possible?

I had tried using something like "Copy to selected_text" but that didn't work. (That action seems to have been removed in a recent update.)

I am trying the Actions using a Snippet Group now.
