I think adding an option to close apps by tapping and holding them in the app switcher can add more convenience to using it. If there is a way to do this please inform me as I have tried to reach it but it doesn't seem doable.
I was wondering exactly the same right now. Would very much like to just hold an app in the switcher and make it quite.. so somehow send a CMD+Q shortcut to it.
I believe it is possible now, so maybe close this topic?
