Opening BTT makes Trackpad Unresponsive

Last night, I installed Logetech software for the MX 3S mouse. After I enabled some configurations, I tried using it with BTT, but I started running into a problem: the mouse and my Magic Trackpad were unresponsive to clicking buttons and apps.

I uninstalled the Logitech software and remaining items, but now when I open BTT, the Trackpad still becomes unresponsive to clicking buttons. I used Voice Control to quit BTT, and the Trackpad works fine.

I deleted BTT, and reinstalled the app, but that doesn't help. I also rebutted my computer, and even reinstalled macOS Sequoia before uninstalling and reinstalling BTT.

I really rely on BTT. I hope there's a fix for the problem.

is the BTT process using A LOT of CPU? (check via Activity Monitor). Maybe something is somehow triggering recursively or something like that. Have you already checked the "recently used" section for anything susipicious?

Which version of BTT are you on?

I'm using v. 5.157. I was able to open BTT and disable the most recent gesture. I looks that I might of helped. I'll keep testing. Thanks for quick response and help.

in case you experimented with floating menus, it might have been the issue discussed here that should now be fixed in 5.158
