Only show active apps for the Dock widget or App Switcher widget

Is it possible to only show active apps for the Dock widget or App Switcher widget?

There are already options like "Hide Running Apps", "Hide Quit Apps", so I assume it's possible to have a similar option like "Hide Hidden Apps" or "Only Show Active Apps"?

Then I can use it to replace my AltTab to switch apps completely. Thanks!
