One finger taps very intermittent on built in trackpad on MacBook Pro 16" 2023

Describe the bug
A clear and concise description of what the bug is. Any bug reports that contain insults against me or my software will be deleted without warning (unfortunately this has become necessary to mention here).

When asigning actions to any of the 1 finger taps on my built in trackpad, they almost never trigger. Top middle works about half the time, top left and right basically never work (1% maybe). Corner clicks don't work either. Two and more finger gestures seem to work properly

Affected input device (e.g. MacBook Trackpad, Magic Mouse/Trackpad, Touch Bar, etc.):

TipTaps aren't working either. Maybe there is some System setting I need to change for these one finger gestures to work?

There shouldn't be any setting, but you can try to adjust the needed pressure/sensitivity in the advanced BTT settings

Also possibly try to use the live view, it might show issues:

Basically none of the special taps are working, just the two, three and four finger taps, and those are super solid, work every time

Thanks Andreas, I see the taps in Live View but no recognized gestures. I'll set up some global triggers and see if they show up. I've only tried app specific triggers up until now.

Here's a screen recording of the top left not working.

And Tip Taps seem to be recognized if I keep the first finger down for around a second before tapping the other finger, but it wasn't triggering the action, only Live View
