Noticeable Input lag when running particular keyboard shortcuts

I am currently using 4.186 alpha of BTT on a Macbook Pro M2.

For specific keyboard shortcuts, such as a move/resize: sidebar from hyperkey + - r, I see a noticeable input lag - after pressing the keyboard shortcut. It takes up to 2-5 seconds to execute. However, another subset of my keyboard shortcuts work as expected without the lag. I tried rebooting my computer and upgrading to the alpha version, but I didn't see an improvement. I have BTT running on a second Macbook Air M1, and the lag is reproducible with the exact same commands. How can I debug this?

Your shortcuts seem to work instantly here.

Any other keyboard related app installed that might conflict with BTT?
Have you already tried to restart your system?

I restarted my system and still see the lag.
The lag is only observed in specific shortcuts. I don't see a clear pattern as to why some work and some don't.
I tried to kill one app at a time and cannot identify an interacting app that's conflicting with BTT.
I also can replicate the exact delays in my separate Macbook, and I tried rebooting that too.
