Think it's clear what I'm trying to achieve in screenshot, and I searched and saw a bunch of posts with seemingly no resolve to the same problem.
With this disabled no middle-click is registered, by any browser, it seems. Yet BTT does register the middle-click, so 
I've disabled pinch to zoom.
