Describe the bug
There's no haptic while clicking on the trackpad for any configuration that has a gesture setup. For example 4 finger click only produces a haptic while lifting the fingers up, there's no haptic while clicking down.
Affected input device (e.g. MacBook Trackpad, Magic Mouse/Trackpad, Touch Bar, etc.): Both my Magic Trackpad and Mac trackapad
Screenshots
Device information:
Type of Mac: M3 Max
macOS version: Seqouia (Though this was happening on the previous one as well)
BetterTouchTool version: 4.713
Additional information (e.g. crash logs, related issues, etc.):
I've emailed you diagnostics and sample setup via email. The trackpad clicks come back when I quit BTT.
It's got the feedback settings correct (i've also played around with changing the haptic response but none of them are working normally).
To clarify there's haptic, but only while releasing the fingers which is odd.
I've sent the diagnostics and the preset over email!
Ah, can you change it from "New BTT Default Click Release" to "BTT Default Normal Click"
and from "New BTT Default ForceClick" to "BTT Default Force Click"? (These are the defaults when installing BTT)
That should solve the issue. I'll remove the "new" options, they don't seem to be supported on Sequoia anymore but have also been worse than the others on previous macOS versions.
Instead I'll soon add a way to create custom haptics.
