Newbie question: How do I make the trigger "left click in blank space in menubar"

I am VERY new to BTT. I figured out how to trigger a "hide all to left of BTTicon" with a keyboard shortcut, but I'd like to do it with a click in the menubar. I don't see how to add such a trigger.

Maybe the "Double Click Main Menubar" trigger can work for you. It is in the "Automations & Named & Other Triggers" section.

If you require a single click, that is more complex to set up, I can post an example for that later if you need it.

why this command- hide left of "btt" hide shortcuts icon too when its on right? @Andreas_Hegenberg its a controls edit panel item

unfortunately only all statusbar items of an app can be hidden for technical reasons, most likely there is another item belonging to the same “host app” on the left
