Hi there,
I have recently bought the Logitech Master MX 4 mouse for use with Blender. The software that came with it was not of much use, however, I came across BTT and am completely amazed at all the functionality that has been built into this. Kudos!
One of the things which I have not been able to figure is the following functionality:
In blender the middle button is used to zoom, rotate and pan, depending on the modifier key being used. So Shift+Middle key allows to pan.
I am trying to get this done thought the use of one of the keys on the mouse (Gesture key, Key 8)
Reading through available info online, I have mapped the Trigger Up and Trigger down of the button to Shift Up and Shift Down. This does result in the correct initiation of the modifier. However when I press the gesture key + middle key nothing happens. If I press keep the gesture key pressed and press the middle key again then I can pan. However, when I let the keys go Shift is still engaged. So I have to press and release the gesture key to release the shift.
Is there an elegant way to achieve what I am trying, which is basically to use a mouse button as a shift modifier while I press the middle key and pan around.
Thanks
Faraz
