I had set up discrete drag up and also click release, earlier it used to work without any conflict, but now the click release also trigger after I drag left/right/up/down @Andreas_Hegenberg

Look like fixed in v6.812
there is now a separate "On Button Release After Drag" category in 6.812 , so both usecases can now be covered

Also, I found their is variable option in the HUD, how can I get the last picked color in hex color? Also can I make the hud background color according to the picked color, text color will be opposite of that color picked for text visibility? @Andreas_Hegenberg
