I built a simple application that just shows a mute / unmute microphone popup that looks like the native OSD / HUD in Mac OS,
sharing it for others to use in their setups

Looks nice! But one question: was there anything in BTT's "Show HUD" action that didn't work to create this same effect using that?
Ah! well, I did not try that since I also needed this HUD to popup when using my Logitech keyboard's mute button,
I guess I might not need this once the libratbag integration in BTT is out
