I have always used Ctrl to move my windows and Ctrl+Opt to resize them, and I use it all the day.
This morning suddenly it stopped working
Where could I check to try to fix the issue?
(I’m with the alpha version, could I go back to a regular update?)

sure you can always go back via All current and previous BetterTouchTool releases for download
However it seems to work fine here with the current alpha 6.220, have you already tried to restart BTT? Which alpha are you on?

I don’t think it depends on something I’ve messed up in BTT settings, as far I understood this thing shoul? override any other action, correct?
have you configured it via the standard moving & resizing settings in BTT?
If so, possibly it's an issue with macOS permissions. I'd recommend to quit BTT, then go to System Settings => Security & Privacy => Accessibility. Then remove BTT from the list (disabling is not enough) and add it again manually.

What's the diff between what you suggest in this topic and what you have suggested here ?
I'm using the latter one for both resize and move (different triggers of course).
In the referenced thread it was specifically about moving/resizing while holding a mouse button, the standard moving & resizing functions in BTT work by holding modifier keys without any mouse button involved.

gone back to 6.219 - nothing
removed again bettertouch in System Settings => Security & Privacy => Accessibility - nothing
installed 6.220 again - nothing
removed again bettertouch in System Settings => Security & Privacy => Accessibility - nothing
ok, all fine now.
something was messed up
I have exported my presets, disinstalled BTT using cleanmymac, imported again ands now it seems to work fine!
