The issue I am experiencing might be related to what is described in
I started experiencing this last week (but might have happened earlier, it's just I don't use that functionality that much on daily basis - mostly when leading trainings) and this was with the old version of BTT (3.x) as well as MacOS 14.7.
Now I took a bite and upgraded to both 15.1.1 and 4.843 but that seems to be broken still.
It's not even the trigger failing because even if I click on "Run an Action" button directly that doesn't happen.
However, four finger swipe works just fine always which makes me wonder whether that's some interaction or system behaviour with MacOS 14+
BTT uses the shortcuts for space switching defined in System Settings => Keyboard => Keyboard Shortcuts => Mission Control.
Sometimes these get messed up and show a yellow warning triangle. To fix this assign some (any) keyboard shortcut to these actions:
Amazing. They were set to the same thing (some very garbled shortcut) and had a traingle indeed. That fixed it, now I need to remind myself what I tried to reuse that shortcuts for so that I found it valuable to use ctrl+mouse buttons
