Mouse Track Pad Clicks not working correctly on Monterrey

Hi

I updated to OS Monterrey and I have the latest update on Better Touch for my Macbook Pro and something has changed.

Now I have to click really hard on the mouse track to be able to click on things. I have to click sometime a few times to be able to close a window.

Before one click was sufficient, now I have to click a few times to close browsers or tabs or any clickable area.

And also, I see an option on your app and I have clicked it to see if it will be fixed and nothing happens and this is the message

Helper tool is never active.

I dont know what is the problem but after the new operating system and your new updates this problem wasn’t happening and is not fixed

Does this happen while BTT is not running as well? Or do clicks only become hard when BTT is running?

Its harder when BTT is on. But still has some small issue on clicking. With BTT is more predominant.

And the priority helper tool I tried and always says helper not active. Dont know if this helps.

Also, I have the dropbox sync ... But I've never had problems before.

If BTT is running it does not modify any trackpad settings at all, thus I'd recommend to try to quit it for a while and see whether everything is back to normal.
If there are still issues, it's some system issue we can look for, if everything works as previously we need to look into BTT.

There haven't been any Monterey specific click changes, thus there should not be any difference compared to previous macOS.

Hi, I did notice a difference. And more at the beginning. With BTT on sometimes the click problem is there.

I already quit and reset the computer. Also checked for updates with BTT.

I have a MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports)
3,5 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i7
16 GB 2133 MHz
Intel Iris Plus Graphics 650 1536 MB

try to disable the dropbox sync, this is an experimental feature and could cause weird issues

If I disable that, then, on an update, will I loose all the gestures that I have created'???

Or what can I do so I dont lose any information that I have created within the BTT???

no, updates don’t change your data. However you can easily export your data using the presets-> export feature in btt
