Describe the bug
Mouse gestures do not work for me since version 5.75. Old and new gestures do not seem to be registered at all. The drawing area comes up and I can draw as normal but no action is triggered.
Affected input device (e.g. MacBook Trackpad, Magic Mouse/Trackpad, Touch Bar, etc.):

what kind of actions do you have assigned to your drawing gestures? Do they target the active window?
Would be great if you could try some generic action like "show hud" to see whether the drawing is recognized cordectly but targeting the specific window fails
Thanks for your quick reply. I have tried different actions and gestures. None of them seem to work, not even generic actions like “show hud”.
I tried to reproduce the issue on some of my machines but the drawings are working fine here.
Could you go to Help => Export Diagnostic Debug Information and send the resulting folder to me? (andreas@folivora.ai), then I can check what is going on exactly.

I think you accidentally enabled this option:
Combined with the relatively small drawing area size of 300x300px, this will result in lots of cancelled gestures / drawings. Disabling that option or increasing the drawing area size should resolve your issue
Actually, while the issue is caused by this option, the real problem is that the system seems to report the mouse being outside the drawing area even if this is not true. I'll check why that is happening.

I had exactly the same problem. I was just able to solve it by going to “Settings” > [Advanced Settings] > “Drawings / Mouse Gestures” and unchecking the box next to “Cancel recognition if mouse outside of drawing area.” Maybe that will help.
