Modifier on Razer Keypad is overwritten by Key when recording shortcut

Note:
Before bug reporting, please make sure you have tried the latest (alpha) version of BetterTouchTool and that you have already tried to restart your system :-). If you encounter a crash, please attach a crash log from the macOS Console.app's "Crash Reports" section.

Describe the bug
Keyboard Shortcuts: While recording a shortcut, Pressing a key on the Razer Tartarus Pro that outputs the 'Option' key will be overwritten when pressing another key (e.g. one that outputs 'x'). The same thing happens with any modifier.

Affected input device (e.g. MacBook Trackpad, Magic Mouse/Trackpad, Touch Bar, etc.):

Additional information (e.g. crash logs, related issues, etc.):

I think there might be a misunderstanding. Keyboard shortcuts on macOS always require at least one modifier key AND a normal key (press both simultaneously to record).

Maybe you can explain what exactly you are trying to set up.

There is a thumb button on the Razer Tartarus Pro that outputs the 'Option/Alt' Modifier. I was trying to use the "Click to Record Shortcut" to record 'Option+x'. When I hold the 'Option' button down it displays the 'Option' key symbol. When then type the 'x' key the 'Option' symbol is then overwritten by the 'x', when I should see 'Option'+'X' in the record shortcut entry field. When I use my keyboard to record the same shortcut, this behaves as expected. It just happens to only behave this way with the Tartarus Pro keypad.

Also, I have found that remapping keys on the Razer Tartarus Pro will now also remap the same keys on the main keyboard even though I specified the Razer Tartarus Pro.

Both these used to work before I ran the update.

are you referring to a macOS update or BetterTouchTool update? (I don't think anything changed in BTT related to this, but maybe macOS changed something?)

A BetterTouchTool Update

I was able to get it to work. I had to completely uninstall the BetterTouchTool and install it and then recreated the key mappings. Sorry for the false alarm. Not sure why it got confused
